The City of New Orleans requires that all public servants complete a (1) hour, mandatory training course on the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics during each year of employment or term of office. Elected officials are additionally required to receive one hour of training per term of office on the Campaign Finance Disclosure Acts. See CAO Policy Memorandum NO. 71(R), 2019
Webinars have been scheduled in order to offer all public servants, Board and Commission members, and elected officials the opportunity to complete their 1-hour mandatory Louisiana State Ethics training for 2021.
